We’re glad you’re here
We have been helping families with transgender and gender diverse kids for more than a decade now. Our only goal is to support families in supporting their kids. The best way we know how to do that is to invite families to attend our groups and get connected with other families. We offer more than a dozen online groups, plus forums, workshops, special topic groups, and more. We would love to have you join us!
For parents, caregivers and other adults who play a pivotal role in a gender diverse child’s life: Before coming to groups or accessing our other services, we require the completion of an intake form (Step 1) and, then, an orientation (Step 2) with our family support staff who will answer some of your immediate questions including how to get the most out of our offerings. These steps help ensure that our groups are as safe and confidential as possible. Once you complete Steps 1 and 2, you will receive an email with final instructions on how to complete your membership (Step 3).
The intake form is for parents/caregivers only. If you are a therapist, medical provider, etc., who is looking for information on how families you work with would benefit from our site, please email us at email@example.com.
Step 1: Intake
One way we keep the space safe and confidential is by having each person go through an intake and orientation process with one of our support staff before full membership is granted. Your privacy and that of your child is one of our top concerns.
Take the first step and complete our secure online intake form to get started.
Have you already completed the intake and orientation but would like to sign up for a Trans Families membership? Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 2: Orientation
Once we have received your completed intake info, in the next few days we will send you some orientation times to choose from. Sign up for the time that works best for your schedule. Attend the orientation call and get answers to your questions.
Please note: the orientation is intended only for parents/caregivers and other adults in a primary support role (i.e. grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc.). During this video meeting, we address a number of initial parental questions or concerns. This meeting is not for trans or gender diverse children regardless of age.
Step 3: Become a Member
Our goal is to provide a safer, private space for families with transgender, non-binary, and other gender-diverse children to find support and deepen understanding. Membership is how we do this. Once your orientation is complete, you will receive an invitation to sign up to become a member.
