Hi, this is Rachel, writer of grants and raiser of funds for Trans Families! You may also know me from the Parents of Nonbinary Youth group and my many livestreams about nachos.
I’m SO excited to tell you about our brand new Round Up program – an easy way for you to support transgender/nonbinary youth and their families!
With our Round Up program, your spare change from everyday purchases directly supports Trans Families. By signing up with a credit or debit card, you’ll be helping trans/nonbinary youth and their families in a critical time. Plus, it’s super easy to set up!
Here’s how it works: as you make purchases throughout the month on your registered card, each transaction rounds up to the nearest dollar. At the end of the month, that spare change automatically becomes a donation to Trans Families! It’s simple and you won’t even need to open your wallet to help us continue supporting families who need us.

By signing up to donate your spare change, you’re supporting trans/nonbinary youth and their families. And, by donating regularly, you can help Trans Families create and expand our programming for youth and adults alike.
What if I happen to spend a lot on my registered card that month? I love you and all, but I’m not sure I want to donate too much!
Never fear, we understand! When you sign up, you can set a maximum amount to donate, so you’ll never be surprised. The Round Up program is an easy way to donate within parameters you set based on purchases you’re already making!
This sounds like a great way to support an important cause! Once I’m signed up, how do I change or stop my donation?
Good question! When you sign up, you’ll receive an email with your log-in to your personal donor dashboard. If you need to make changes, just click that link! You can also view/print your receipts on your dashboard.
Why doesn’t my Round Up get donated after each transaction? Don’t you want the funds now?
By waiting until the end of the month, we’ll only pay one processing fee so that your donation can have as big of an impact as possible.
